Help CSULB Students

When a first-generation college student at CSULB, began struggling to afford groceries after paying rent and tuition, she often skipped meals to make ends meet. A friend told her about the Beach Pantry, where she found shelves stocked with fresh produce, canned goods, and even hygiene items—all free for students. For the first time in months, she didn’t have to worry about where her next meal would come from. With this support, she could focus more on her studies and less on financial stress, feeling both cared for and connected to her campus community.
