Cheeseburgers for Children's Maritime Institute

You can see from the photo that American Pride is a beautiful ship with distinctive Tanbark Sails. She is the official tall ship of the City of Long Beach and a wonderful ship to suddenly see on your stroll down at Rainbow Harbor. 

The Children's Maritime Institute is a division of the Los Angeles Maritime Institute, a long-standing education and adventure non-profit bringing over a 140,000 students aboard and out on the ocean. 

We are working hard to bring as many local Long Beach students back out to discover the wonders of the ocean.

Please support my fundraiser as I work to raise funds to help build new and better access for coming aboard the ship. It also is all about the joy of having young people discover what it is like to be out on the ocean, the wind in the sails, the sound of the waves, and freeing one's mind.
