BOSS has helped me grow a lot as a young black man and they teach us BOSS students a lot that regular school wouldn’t liked public speaking, financial capability and literacy. There are also many outlets through BOSS that you wouldn’t see from and average free program.
We get to talk to professional athletes from all sports coming to talk to us about what they did and how to build confidence.
We have events called BOSS Saturdays where I always learn something new from someone else either in person or on a Zoom call. The BOSS Saturdays are very important and you can make connections through it.
