The Cultural Business Association (The CBA) is dedicated to supporting the growth and improvement of local businesses with a focus on emerging and microbusinesses within the larger commerce community. Our goal is to provide access to resources and training that can improve the outcomes of any enterprise. We seek to support businesses in their bold cultural expression and to enhance their business presentation that represents the City of Long Beach in the best light. We seek to bring our entire community together for the wellbeing of all by providing resources without guilt and shame and demonstrating the need we all have to support and be supported by each other.

The two founders, Zainab El and Angelica Franco, are both residents, parents, "minority" business owners, vendors, educators and community advocates here in the City of Long Beach. We are Black/Indigenous women embedded in the Long Beach community. We are inclusive of various cultures respectfully and promote culture unapologetically in the healing and community spaces of Long Beach and Los Angeles County.
