In 1946, five Long Beach women came together with a shared purpose: to help local chidren access the care they needed. Eighty years later, Children's Benefit League remains an all-volunteer-run nonprofit that carries that vision forward.
Through eight decades of fundraising and community support, CBL has raised millions of dollars to help provide essential healthcare and related services for local children and families who face barriers to accessing care. Today, CBL supports five specialized nonprofit partners whose services span physical, dental, and mental health, disability services, hearing and communication which help to ensure more children in our community get the care they need.
I'm proud to be part of this 80-year Long Beach legacy, and I'm asking my friends, family and community to join me in supporting Children's Benefit League through Long Beach Gives. Every gift, no matter the size, helps us continue expanding access to essential services for local children and families.
