I’m raising money for ÓRALE Long Beach this Long Beach Gives because I really believe in the work they’re doing for immigrant families right here in our community.

Every two weeks, families come together at ÓRALE’s Mutual Aid sites across Long Beach to receive fresh produce, frozen foods, and pantry staples. Mutual aid is really just community members taking care of one another—sharing food, resources, information, and support with people who need it.

In 2025 alone, ÓRALE provided food support to 3,513 community members and distributed approximately 65,000 pounds of food in partnership with the LA Food Bank and Food Forward.

If you’ve been watching what’s happening to immigrant families and feeling powerless—if it’s unbearable to see people afraid they could be taken away while simply going to work, the grocery store, or living their everyday lives—this is one tangible way to help.

Your donation helps families access food and essential resources while being surrounded by a community that shows up for them with dignity and care.
