I have served with the amazing team at the Long Beach Health and Human Services Department for nearly 7 years. We often find ourselves struggling to fill gaps where grants can't meet the needs for clients served through our programs. This is even more of a reality as funding for public health programs decreases.
The HHS Fund’s Direct Client Support provides flexible resources to Long Beach residents participating in Health Department programs who are experiencing hardship or urgent needs.
Donations provide more health resources and address life’s surprises that might otherwise come between someone and the care they need.
As Health Department staff, we can connect our communities with resources that can make a real difference. Your donation helps extend that support to more Long Beach neighbors when they need it most.
