Downtown Difference: Long Beach Gives 2026!

We’re the Downtown Difference! From murals and neighborhood cleanups to events and volunteer-powered projects, we invest in people, places, and ideas that build community, strengthen public spaces, champion creativity, and We make Downtown a more vibrant, welcoming, and prosperous place for everyone.

Our programs are designed to create moments of discovery, connection, and participation, whether that’s finding a new mural on your commute to work, meeting a neighbor at a community cleanup, enjoying live music in a public space, or making a new connection with someone who shares your passion for Downtown. These are the kinds of experiences that turn a collection of buildings, businesses, and strangers into a community.

Join us in creating a Downtown that people don’t just visit: they experience, connect with, and call it their own. Help us build a Downtown where our community can see themselves reflected in its spaces, culture, and experiences, allowing people to come together, creativity and ideas to flourish, and everyone has a sense of belonging.
