The West Gateway Community Association (WGCA) is a dedicated group of passionate volunteers committed to enhancing and beautifying our community. We take pride in fostering a clean, welcoming, and engaging environment for residents, businesses, and visitors alike.
The WGCA helps shape the future of our neighborhood by keeping residents informed and involved. We promote civic engagement through our community meetings where we hear from civic representatives and guest speakers on relevant topics such as parking, public safety, disaster preparedness, and neighborhood cleanliness. We take an active part in the Downtown Residential Council and maintain strong relationships with the Long Beach City Council, the Mayor’s Office, and the LBPD, ensuring that our community’s voice is heard and its needs are addressed. One voice can be ignored but a chorus cannot be overlooked.
