The Arts Council for Long Beach envisions a thriving Long Beach that benefits from universal participation in the arts. If this is something that resonates with you, please consider donating to our cause.

Some examples of our ongoing programs:
Eye on Design: A 15 week public art education program that encourages civic involvement, critical thinking, and creative problem-solving, culminating in a public art piece created by the students for their respective schools
Creative Corps: Partnering 35 organizations with artists based in LA and Orange County together to collaborate on public art pieces that reflects the heart of their diverse communities
Rainbow Heroes: A public and interactive mural project informed by open conversations with LB residents that memorializes the LGBTQ elders from Long Beach, effectively educating and empowering the community

There are three ways that you can help support our organization and the work we do in the community:

1. Create a Peer to Peer fundraising page!
If you created one last year, we invite you to create another page this year to help us reach our goal. If Peer 2 Peer is new to you: You become a fundraiser for the Arts Council Long Beach for the Long Beach Gives campaign, asking your friends, family, and colleagues to help you to reach a personal goal you set to help us reach our goal. We are here to help you with any questions you have about creating this page and we have also included a how-to document to help you with the process!

2. Donate whatever you can to the cause!
To help give everyone the opportunity to donate, this campaign to raise funds for our organization starts on September 14th at 12 AM and runs through the big day of giving on September 21st. (Additionally, if you miss the big day of giving, donations are accepted through September 24th until 10 AM.) If you want to donate in this manner, you can use this link here starting on September 14th.

3. Become a sponsor!
If you have an organization, are part of an organization (or know of one) that would like to help contribute through a sponsorship, we have a sponsorship packet that we can send to you that outlines different tiers available and explains how these sponsorships partner with your organization to benefit both parties. Please reach out to us for this option and we would love to speak with you!

What do these funds help us do?

• Continue to evolve and distribute Art Kits throughout the city
• Educate the community about our relief and microgrant programs and how to restore stability through these programs
• Continue to enhance our arts registry and offerings throughout our community to reimagine our creative lives
• Continue to further integrate art into the lives of our community members by celebrating the arts in the form of murals, educational programming, access, and inclusivity.
