Long Beach Gives: 

We’re raising funds to upgrade and reimagine our home base by creating private offices, a functional costume shop, and an improved green room for our growing team. These upgrades will ensure every staff member has the space they need to focus, collaborate, and bring their best work to the stage.

This project will also prepare a dedicated office for our soon-to-arrive Development Director, who will lead efforts to grow MTW’s resources and impact.

For over 70 years, Musical Theatre West has brought Broadway-quality musicals to Southern California. Founded in 1952 as the Whittier Civic Light Opera, we’ve grown into one of the region’s most respected professional theatre companies. Each season, we produce world-class shows and deliver enriching education and outreach programs that preserve musical theatre as a unique American art form and connect with audiences of all ages and backgrounds.
