Lauren was my cousin, but she felt more like a sister. She was the person I could always call whenever I had a complex problem, and somehow, she always knew how to help.
That’s why raising money for Lauren’s Legacy Scholarship Foundation means so much to me.
Created in Lauren’s honor, the foundation provides young women with financial support to pursue higher education and trade school, helping reduce the financial barriers that can stand between students and their dreams. Education helped shape Lauren into the incredible woman she was, someone who used her knowledge, compassion, and strength to help others, including me.
This year, I’m raising $1,500 through Long Beach Gives to help carry Lauren’s legacy forward. Every contribution, no matter the size, can help give another young woman the opportunity to pursue her goals and build a brighter future.
