When my son joined Shared Science’s robotics program, he loved it—and it reminded me how powerful learning can be when kids get to build, experiment, and explore for themselves. We are raising funds to help more children experience that same excitement. Shared Science’s Targeted STEM Education Support Program connects Long Beach students in need with fun, hands-on opportunities, from building LEGO machines and creating animations to coding robots. These experiences go beyond science, technology, engineering, and math: they help children practice solving problems, build confidence, and imagine new possibilities for their futures. For kids who might otherwise miss out, early access can help close opportunity gaps and challenge stereotypes about who belongs in STEM.
