Hello, I'm James Ahumada, the Senior Vice President and Deputy CEO of the Downtown Long Beach Alliance.
I moved to Long Beach in 2008, and have been active in the city since. A proud Rotarian and CSULB alum, I served on the alumni board of directors for several years as Vice President of Finance, and am honored to be a Member-at-Large on the Board of Long Beach Rotary Charitable Foundation.
You can help by donating to the Charitable Foundation's Feeding the Future campaign through Long Beach Gives, to raise funds for financially challenged students experiencing food insecurity. Both Long Beach City College and CSU Long Beach offer pantries where their students can obtain food and personal hygiene items. Rotary will use funds raised to purchase and deliver the items to both pantries.
Hungry Students have difficulty with focusing on their studies!
