Your gift through my page here will allow a Long Beach high school student to attend Rotary's Youth Leadership camp (RYLA) for a life changing experience!

Hi, I’m Brett Lewis. I’m based in Long Beach, and I currently serve as the Director of Development & Communications at a child and family services organization. Outside of my day-job, I have been active in Long Beach Rotary since 2015

One of the most meaningful things we can do as a community is to invest in our young people. Supporting local students isn’t just about scholarships or tutoring — it’s about showing them that we believe in their potential. When we give students the resources, encouragement, and opportunities they need, we’re not only helping them succeed individually, we’re strengthening the future of Long Beach as a whole.

This why I am fundraising for the 2026 Rotary Youth Leadership camp (RYLA) through Long Beach Gives. These intense camps are designed to give aspiring leaders from local Long Beach high schools the opportunity to build leadership skills they can bring back to their peers, and take forward to whatever career they choose in the future.

One RYLA scholarship costs $615, but each dollar raised helps strengthen our community.
