I’ve been proud to work at Linc Housing for 13 years, and in that time I’ve seen firsthand how affordable housing changes lives. When I started in 2012, Linc had built 49 communities. Today, in 2025, we’ve more than doubled that—100 communities and counting—providing thousands of families, seniors, and youth with the stability of a safe, affordable home.

In California, renters now need to earn 2.8 times the state minimum wage just to afford average asking rent. California Housing Partnership Without access to a stable home, people struggle with everything from health and education to work and financial security.
