Support Lucy for Rotary Youth Leadership camps!

Your gift through my page here will allow a Long Beach high school student to attend Rotary's Youth Leadership camp (RYLA) for a life changing experience!

I'm Lucy Johnson, and I am a huge believer in quality education for everyone, so supporting the Rotary Youth Leadership Awards (RYLA) is a cause I can get behind (although being afraid of heights will keep me away from this camp - no walking ropes or climbing towers for me!)

I have been involved with various activities in Long Beach off and on since I was a child splashing in the ocean outside the now (sadly) demolished Pacific Coast Club. In 1980 I moved to Long Beach, and found everything I need right here. 

Now retired, I keep busy volunteering for various activities on behalf of nonprofit organizations, including as a relatively new member of the Rotary Club of Long Beach. I am supporting raising funds through Long Beach Gives 2025 on behalf of the Long Beach Rotary Charitable Foundation and the Rotary Youth Leadership Awards (RYLA) program.

Each RYLA scholarship costs $615, but every dollar raised helps strengthen our community.
