I’m supporting the Long Beach Community Land Trust because I believe housing is a human right and that people deserve to stay rooted in the communities they call home.
As LBCLT’s Membership Coordinator and a member myself, this work is meaningful to me because we’re building a foundation for a different future. It's a future rooted in care, justice, sustainability, and a stronger relationship with our communities and the land. I want residents to have a real voice in the decisions that affect their homes and neighborhoods, and to help build a culture where people can feel secure and connected to each other.
This Long Beach Gives, we have an exciting opportunity to support bringing 28 homes in North Long Beach into the CLT model, keeping them permanently affordable and community-led. This would become the first CLT property of its kind in Long Beach!
Your donation will go 4x further: every $1 you give is matched with $3 more, helping build even more support for affordable housing that can last for generations in Long Beach.
Help me reach my goal and move this opportunity forward!
