I’m raising funds for TIP of Long Beach because I have, for the past four years, seen the incredible impact of this organization. As a volunteer in the moment of tragedy, as a dispatcher helping to support our partner agencies by sending one of our volunteers out and then supporting them throughout the call, and as a neighbor seeing the gratitude on someone’s face when a volunteer sits with them thru their crisis, I have come to understand the value of this program.

       Many of you know me and that TIP’s specially-trained volunteers respond when called by first responders. TIP provides immediate emotional support and practical resources to survivors and families during some of life’s most difficult moments.

     You probably don’t know what a “mean/lean machine” the organization is. We do a lot with very little. Donations help provide survivor resource materials, volunteer response supplies, continuing education, and training for new volunteers. Just $250 helps train one new TIP volunteer.

     Every gift helps bring compassion and comfort to someone experiencing one of the hardest days of their life.

       TIP of Long Beach has a $20,000 goal. I’m trying to raise $5,000 so that we can surpass that! Anything you can give will help. Thank you in advance.
