Serving on the Board of Directors for the Disability Resources Center has given me the opportunity to see firsthand the life-changing impact this organization has on our community. Every day, the DRC empowers people with disabilities to live independently, advocate for themselves, and build the lives they choose.

Whether it's helping someone find meaningful employment, providing independent living skills training, connecting people with assistive technology, or offering peer support and advocacy, these services create opportunities, remove barriers, and foster a more inclusive community.

This mission is deeply important to me. I believe everyone deserves the opportunity to thrive, be heard, and have access to the resources they need to live with dignity and independence.

Today, organizations like the Disability Resources Center are facing increasing uncertainty around funding. Community support is more important than ever to ensure these essential services remain available for the people who rely on them every day.
