Joaquin's Playmakers' Fundraising Page

As an athlete in adaptive sports with Playmakers, Joaquin has enjoyed performing in dance class, playing basketball, making new friends, and looks forward to the many other opportunities Playmakers offers. The coaches, volunteers and parents are all welcoming and each athlete can feel confident in their skill levels. 

Joaquin has a vision impairment making it difficult for him to join other teams, but when I told Playmakers he couldn't participate in a sport because of this they offered adaptive equipment and techniques to ensure he was supported and fully participating. We were ecstatic! Joaquin is an integral part of a team that is made up of individuals with different abilities making Playmakers one of kind, and the best sports team our family could have found.

We are helping fundraise for Playmakers because we see firsthand how much Joaquin and his teammates get out of these programs. We invite our friends and family to join us by making a gift to this page and supporting adaptive sports for athletes like Joaquin.
