Isis' Fund Services Dept Supporting Single Moms

Hi, I’m Isis, the Resident Services Coordinator at The Blossom, one of Linc Housing’s communities here in Beaumont CA. For me, this work is deeply personal.

I myself and my family lived in affordable housing and used it as a stepping stone to reach my own dream of homeownership. That experience shaped who I am today. It gave me stability, opportunity, and the belief that a brighter future was possible.

 Now, I have the privilege of helping residents at The Blossom create those same opportunities for themselves and their families. I organize resume-building workshops, credit classes, and vision board sessions that keeps residents motivated and with the hopes of moving forward. Every day, I see how access to affordable housing, plus the right supportive services, can change a life.

 This summer, my daughter even had the chance to intern with Linc Housing, and it was such a meaningful experience for her to see on a firsthand level, the impact of this work on our community.

 That’s why I’m participating in Long Beach Gives. Together, we can make sure more families have the tools and resources they need to thrive and succeed.
