Established in 1977 by Cambodian refugees, the United Cambodian Community (UCC) is committed to empowering our people through local involvement and leadership that honors our deep cultural heritage.

Through four vital programdepartments—Health Equity, Youth Enrichment, Community Integration, and Economic Inclusion—UCC plays a key role in uplifting the community. Serving more than 3,500 individuals annually, UCC continues to grow as a pillar of the Long Beach area and beyond.

As we approach our 50th Anniversary, UCC is more dedicated than ever to ensuring that every individual—from our honored elders to our youngest children—has the resources they need to thrive.

Within our Health Equity (H.E.) Program alone, hundreds of low-income families, including older adults, young parents, and immigrants, have benefited from our essential services.

The Critical Gap: Why We Need You

While most of our specialized programs are supported by government funding, our Walk-In Case Management services are not fully funded. This is often the first place families turn in crisis—when they face language barriers, urgent needs, or simply do not know where else to go for help.

Your donation is the vital bridge that covers the operational costs and staff time needed to keep our doors open for immediate, unscheduled support when our community needs it most.

What Our H.E. Program Does

We walk alongside our community through:

💙 Parenting Skills Program (PSP): Promotes healthy lifestyles and strengthens bonds within multi-generational families.

💙 Community Wellness Program (CWP): Focuses on "aging well" by providing physical and mental health education tailored for our elders.

💙 Long Beach Justice Fund (LBJF): Providing referrals and guidance for families seeking stability, legal pathways, and family reunification.

💙 Education & Civic Engagement: Our ESL and Citizenship Classes equip community members with the English skills and civic knowledge necessary to thrive.

Meet the H.E. Team Behind the Mission

Your support directly invests in the frontline staff who provide this essential “front-door” care:
